Even non-beer lovers will go crazy for this super easy delicious bread. With only 5 ingredients, you can make a tender, buttery loaf in under an hour. Use a can or bottle of your favorite beer—I used Round Barn Lake Michigan Light, an American blonde ale. A mild, light to medium beer is best, although you could experiment with other brews like a pumpkin ale for a bit more flavor.
Honey adds a bit of sweetness and sliced pieces of butter on top of the batter before baking creates a golden, crunchy/chewy exterior. Serve warm right from the oven—perfect on its own or with a cozy dinner. The first time I made this bread, I was truly amazed at how insanely delicious it was with such minimal effort. Try this recipe—you will not be disappointed!

5 Ingredient Beer Bread
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 (12 oz) beer (use your favorite mild-flavored brew)
1/4 cup honey
6 tablespoons salted butter, chilled & sliced into 8 pieces
pinch of kosher salt
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan with softened butter. Add the flour, baking powder, and pinch of salt to a medium size bowl. Pour in the beer and honey. Mix until just combined. Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Arrange the butter slices directly on top. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top of the bread is lightly browned. Slice and serve warm. Enjoy!
